Overview of Case Study

A British multinational information technology consulting company listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) has recently gone live with a new ERP system and Shared Services Centre (SSC) implementation at the end of 2021. After the transition period, the SSC team has moved into BAU operations and is expected to report its BAU KPIs to the stakeholders. 

Challenge

To develop and implement the Financial Analytics solution in parallel to ensuring business runs as usual.

Specifically, the AGOS team is requested to deliver the following:

1. Develop Finance Analytics Solution

  • To automate monthly SSC governance powerpoint report

  • To eliminate time-consuming data extraction & static reporting

2. Implementation of Finance Analytics

  • Project Management

  • Technology Solution Development, Support & Management

Solution

AGOS Asia gathered the business requirements of the KPIs reported and designed a Finance Analytics dashboard which provided a dynamic view of the metrics. It provides more visibility and enables the users to deep dive into the data for further investigation.  

Outcome

A demo of the custom-built dashboard is presented to the Heads of SSC (both Global & APAC) as well as the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Regional Process Owners (RPOs). The final dashboard is implemented along with a briefing session and documentation is provided to the users of the dashboard on how to navigate the dashboard.
